One-way and return itineraries
For intercity travel, give full collection and drop-off addresses, intermediate stops and return needs, not only the destination city. One-way drop-off, a same-day return with waiting and a multi-day programme have different scopes. Children, luggage and break needs belong in the vehicle decision.
Vehicle and breaks for a longer journey
Compare a sedan, Vito or Sprinter through the group travelling together and their bags. Do not assume a fixed traffic duration; give any meeting or flight target time. Ask how tolls, extended waiting and any driver accommodation are handled. Leaving the city does not automatically mean unlimited mileage.
What affects intercity transfer pricing?
Distance, vehicle category, return plan and waiting affect cost. Check fuel, tolls, ferries, parking and any driver accommodation. Comparing only a per-kilometre figure misses these details. The two-hour minimum for hourly hire is not the total price basis of an intercity journey.
Plan with a practical programme example
Example: Istanbul to a meeting in another city, returning the next day. State whether the vehicle needs to remain with you or return only for collection. Request both options on the same addresses and dates; compare each day’s service end and the cost effect of route changes in the written quotation.
This is a planning example, not a vehicle, duration, equipment or price commitment.
What to check in the quotation
Match the vehicle and confirmed requirements, service start and finish, included mileage, waiting and total price in the written quotation. Check tolls and parking, extra stops or hours, cancellation and date-change terms separately. Hourly chauffeur hire has a 2-hour minimum; the confirmed duration depends on your itinerary. Sending an enquiry alone is not booking confirmation: availability and acceptance of the terms still need to be established.
